Description : The Nanotechnology Lab LTFN, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is an internationally acknowledged specialist in Organic Electronics–OEs (OPVs, OLEDs, OTFTs, biosensors, etc.), Thin Films & Nanomaterials Technology, vacuum, printing (roll-to-roll, inkjet), OVPD & CVD Pilot Lines, Nanometrology, in-line optical sensing & Nanomedicine.
LTFN has established the Center of Organic & Printed Electronics for Research & Manufacturing of OE Devices for Applications in Energy, Displays, Lighting, Electronics, NanoBiomedicine, Smart Textiles, Smart Food Packaging, Greenhouses, etc. The Center has an area of 1500 m2 with clean room facilities of 600 m2 and includes state-of-the-art infrastructure and pilot lines (R2R printing, OVPD, CVD, S2S) for the manufacturing of large area OE devices.
LTFN coordinates several EU/National Projects, the Hellenic Organic & Printed Electronics Association HOPE-A (www.hope-a.com), and it organizes annually the NANOTEXNOLOGY multi-event (www.nanotexnology.com) that combines International Conferences, Summer Schools and Exhibitions on Nanotechnology - Organic Electronics and Nanomedicine.
